Avoid in summer. Perfect for the rest of the year. Positive: Great location. Lovely apartment. For much of the year it would be a tremendous place to stay and I’d recommend it. The hosts were friendly and very responsive. Negative: I guess you always roll the dice a little when renting an apartment in London during summer. Most do not have air conditioning, which is understandable. But if you happen to be in town during a heatwave, as we were, it becomes very uncomfortable. That was certainly the case with our stay. The weather got warm and the apartment was too hot to sleep in, even with windows open and fans running. We had booked four nights but had to leave and go to a hotel after two nights because it was just too hot and the weather wasn’t cooling down.
