Mahogany Heights

Positive: This is the most sincere review about this location. Good thing: You have stores around you and a 4 min walk to the underground. And that s it. Negative: Lots of bad things: the most dirtiest place I have been too. If only this was the most unpleasant thing. The host has mice. Mice in the wall that kept us awake all night. It was horrible. We got fooled by the pictures, they don't match the reality at all. I found hair on the sheets, the floors were sticky and the windows were never cleaned. We are not the type of people that will write a bad review for no reason. We stayed and endured the situation because we didn't want this this to mess with our plans, but people need to know. Big red flag!

We really did enjoy our stay. A rental place that is clean, has a comfy place to sleep, and nice kitchen is a home away Positive: We like the easy access to the bus and the tube. We like that it offered a main floor bedroom with walk in shower ensuite. We were travelling with my 89 year old mother. This worked well for her. We also liked the little powder room on the main floor. That was very handy. The kitchen was bright and had nice appliances. There were spices to use and coffee pods for the coffee maker. Towels were provided and toiletries too. The mattresses were nice and comfortable but….bed frames were very low to the floor. There was a good selection of pillows. Very nice. Negative: The bedroom windows let in all the noise from passing traffic. The windows might as well have been wide open. The beds are too low. Comfy but low. Both showers had issues. It is nice to have two showers when multiple people need to get ready to go out. But the floor in the ensuite walk in shower needs repair. Water ran out beneath the shower door. Upstairs you have to climb into a claw foot tub that is on a three or four inch raiser and then hook the handheld into a holder. It worked. Just awkward.

Positive: Amazing house, it had a modern open plan layout to accommodate a large number of guests and create a joyful family environment. Amenities were well stocked, and hosts were easily reachable if there was an issue. All my family especially loved the surprise Dolce Gusto coffee machine! Negative: There were visible signs of wear and tear, but nothing that affected our stay and use of amenities. The focus could be to maintain the property in good shape as few things were not working, and the ground floor ensuite bathroom floor was a bit damaged.

Uncomfortable, noisy, cramped Positive: Cost Negative: Shabby and worn, good facilities but looked tired, white furnishings are grey. Needs maintenance
