A Functional Space Undermined by Poor Cleanliness and Maintenance Positive: The property's greatest asset is its functional size and superb location. It is a large house perfectly suited for accommodating multiple families or a big group, allowing everyone to comfortably sit and socialise together in the living and dining areas. The area of West London is lovely, and the short walk to Barons Court station provides an exceptionally easy commute to central London. We also appreciated the proximity to numerous convenience stores and larger supermarkets. Finally, the basic provisions were appreciated, including the clean linen, towels, and the supply of hand soap and shower gel, with the heating system working fine. Negative: The stay was significantly let down by a clear lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance, which is unacceptable for the premium price. The property did not feel professionally cleaned, with dirty dishes/glasses and carpets badly needing a deep clean. Maintenance was poor, evidenced by exposed nails, random cables, cracked fixtures, and improperly closing wardrobe doors. The kitchen was particularly frustrating; it was grubby, lacked a fridge handle, and provided a difficult, eclectic mix of inadequate utensils for cooking large meals. Practical issues like a difficult-to-lock front door and the complete absence of bin instructions or proper refuse storage further detracted from the experience.
