Riverside 1-Bed Apt w/ balcony in Vauxhall ZONE 1

Positive: This is a lovely apartment in a great location. The tube station, tescos and a few restaurants are just a couple of minutes walk away. The apartment is clean and it was a perfect size for our family of 3. The hosts were contactable and reply to messages promptly. I also feel that they genuinely care about you having an enjoyable stay.

Lovely, modern flat, steps away from Vauxhall underground! Positive: Excellent location, just steps from the Vauxhall underground station. Lovely community of flats, always cool and airy, right by the wharf, which made a huge difference during the heatwave. Spacious apartment, good-sized bathroom and kitchen. Secure access to the building, which has 2 lifts, safe neighbourhood. The hosts were fantastic - very responsive and polite. The TV stopped working during our stay, and they replaced it within 24 hours! Tesco Express is in one of the buildings, and is open late, which was very convenient. Negative: I wish there were larger/more powerful fans (I know London doesn't really have air-conditioning anywhere), since the heat was oppressive and the small tower fans in the flat were not enough. Other things to note: It's about a half a mile walk to a 24/7 store to collect the keys when you arrive, but checkout is easy. Also, this is a busy area, which means it's not quiet, even at night (traffic noises), so bring earbuds/noise-cancelling headphones if you're sensitive to noise.

Thank you to the hosts for an enjoyable stay! Positive: It was comfortable, clean and next to the tube station in a really nice area. Responsiveness was extremely quick which is a huge plus! I will definitely suggest to friends. Negative: First night was extremely hot so stronger air coolers would be nice
